Jennifer Trinkle is a writer. Before she became a writer, she became a mother. Before she became a mother, she went to culinary school. And before that, she was a librarian, working in the government and nonprofit sectors.

She’s lived in eight different states, has been married twice (second time is the charm), and is not particularly fond of Chinese food. At 41, Jennifer has almost let go of her death grip on a misplaced sense of eternal youth.

A relatively recent migrant from the East Coast to Berkeley, California, Jennifer has almost fully adjusted to this strange land of temperate summers, incredible produce, and creative ferment.
